About Arurun
I am a university graduate with degrees in engineering and science. I began writing code when I was a teenager, starting with qbasic, and moving on to C++, and later formally studying C and Java in university. Further, my work experience includes writing programs using .NET (VB.NET in particular). I also have some background in HTML, CSS, Javascript and jQuery, if that interests you.

I studied Computer Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University, and have experience with various programming languages.
My target audience are people without any background in computer programming, or first year university or college students. I take a hands on approach, rather than immediately focus on theory, although some theory is unavoidable. My goal is to get students writing their own code immediately. I believe that to become a good programmer you need to practice. That is, to code, make mistakes, and debug issues, and above all persevere.
I can cover objected oriented programming concepts and principles as well.
