About Gary
I have recently graduated with my degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Alabama, and plan to return to UA on full scholarship this fall for my first year of Law School. I enjoy teaching and coaching and have done so unofficially for the last 8 years, officially for the last 3. In regards to athletics, I have experience with swimming, soccer, flag football, strength training, basketball, and other sports as well. In regards to academics, my degree in Environmental Engineering helped me learn more about math, science, and I also have experience in speech and debate through my time with a pre-law organization called Mock Trial at UA.

What I teach is based solely on a person-by-person basis. It is important to me that I am actually teaching my student, not just going over the material. Over the years, I have helped to coach swimming, soccer, basketball, you name it I have probably helped with it. Through these many experiences, I have learned that everyone learns differently. My main goal will be to understand the person I am teaching and how they think, then utilizing my understanding of how they approach things to lead them to learning.
