About Shaunak
I believe that good teaching is about clarity, structure, and trust. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to build their confidence and problem-solving ability. I create a calm, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, as this is essential for real understanding.
My teaching methodology is concept-driven and structured. I begin by strengthening the fundamentals and then guide students towards applying those ideas through carefully chosen problems. For Math and Physics, I focus on logical reasoning and exam-oriented techniques where appropriate. For Algorithms and Quantum Physics, I explain complex ideas using clear mathematical intuition, visual explanations, and step-by-step reasoning, making advanced topics accessible.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are adapted to suit each student’s level and goals. Every class includes clear explanations, guided problem-solving, and revision of key concepts. I provide additional notes, practice questions, and learning resources when needed to ensure steady progress outside lessons.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and am currently pursuing an MSc in Computing Science at University College Cork (UCC). This academic background allows me to teach both school-level and university-level subjects with professionalism and depth. I approach tutoring with responsibility, punctuality, and clear communication, and I take my role as an educator seriously.
