About Никита
I'm a mechanical engineering graduate of MEPhI (National Research Nuclear University) and a design engineer working in additive manufacturing, 3D scanning and reverse engineering.
Teaching grew out of mentoring. For over three years I've worked as a project mentor at national summer engineering programs for school students, and twice mentored teams at a national youth research competition. One of those teams designed the gripping unit for an underwater mining robot. I've also been an organizer and mentor in junior engineering tracks run by a major industrial company.
In my own work I design real parts every day, from mechanical assemblies to molds for silicone casting, so I teach the way CAD is actually used in industry, not just how the menus work.
My students rate me highly for clear explanations and patience, and I'm always happy to adapt lessons to each person's goals and pace.

I'm a design engineer specializing in additive manufacturing, 3D scanning and reverse engineering, and the author of 10 research papers on 3D printing accuracy. For more than three years I've mentored teenagers at national engineering project camps, guiding teams from a rough idea to a working prototype.
My approach is simple: you learn CAD by building real things, not by memorizing buttons. From the very first lesson we work on a part you actually care about, whether it's a model for 3D printing, a mechanical assembly or a school or university project.
A typical 60-minute online lesson:
- a quick review of homework and questions
- a new tool or technique shown on a real example
- hands-on practice where you model while I guide you
- a small task to consolidate the skill
Before we start, you install the CAD program you want to learn (Fusion 360, SolidWorks or Inventor) and a slicer, so the first lesson goes straight to modeling, not setup. If you're not sure which one to choose, I'll help you pick based on your goals.
Who the lessons are for:
- kids and teens who want to create their own projects and print them
- students struggling with CAD coursework and technical drawings
- adults who want to master Fusion 360, SolidWorks or Inventor from scratch
Lessons are in Russian, so it's easier to understand complex topics without a language barrier.
