About Vaughn
I am a passionate and approachable tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and improve their understanding of challenging subjects. I want to teach because I find it rewarding to support students in their learning and see their progress over time, both academically and personally. I also found it very helpful having a tutor through high school and enjoy being that support for others.

I take a student-focused approach to tutoring, tailoring each lesson to what the student is currently learning in class. I work with the students to identify areas they find challenging, clarify key concepts, and reinforce understanding through targeted practice exercises.
Lessons typically run for one hour, providing enough time to review class content, work through examples, and consolidate learning without overwhelming the student.
I have experience tutoring Year 11 students in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. In addition, I have been teaching horse riding and since the age of 14, which has strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and adapt to different learning styles.
My lessons are suited to students from Years 8–10 seeking support in Mathematics and/or Science, as well as Years 11–12 students studying Mathematics and/or Physics.
