About Katrina
Hey! I’m Kat — a passionate, results-driven tutor with over seven years of experience helping students not just keep up, but excel. I graduated high school with a 91.6 ATAR and have since worked with students from Kindergarten to Year 12, across a range of subjects and skill levels. What sets me apart? I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all learning. Every student is different — so every lesson is tailored, engaging, and designed to make things click. Whether you're prepping for the HSC, struggling with essays, or just trying to stay motivated through Year 9, I’m here to help make it all make sense. I bring energy, structure, and strategy into every session, but I’m also approachable, relatable, and real. I offer personalised Maths tutoring for students from Kindergarten to Year 12, including Standard, Advanced, and Extension levels. My lessons are tailored to the school curriculum and focus on your specific problem areas — whether it's algebra, calculus, probability, or exam techniques. I use a variety of teaching methods to match different learning styles, with a strong emphasis on clear explanations, skill repetition, and real understanding, not just memorisation.
Lessons typically run for 1 to 2 hours and include consistent feedback, optional homework, and support between sessions if needed.
I completed Extension 2 Mathematics in high school, earned a 91.6 ATAR, and was awarded multiple STEM scholarships throughout my studies. With over seven years of tutoring experience, I’ve helped a wide range of students—from those struggling to keep up to high achievers aiming for top ranks.
