About Joshua
I'm an engineer specializing in emerging technologies and I teach exclusively in English. My style is relaxed yet structured, ensuring that lessons remain enjoyable while ensuring real progress.
I've worked on some exciting projects: levitation technologies and 3D printing with the University of Bristol, trackers for monitoring terrapin turtles in the United States and Southeast Asia, citizen science projects on air quality in the United Kingdom, and large-scale projects on conservation and biodiversity using bioacoustic systems (100,000+ hours of audio analyzed for ESG sites). I've also designed performance measurement tools for the British Olympic Sailing Team.
I enjoy simplifying complex concepts and presenting them clearly. My students leave with a better understanding and concrete skills they can apply immediately.
I have already successfully supported students via Superprof in Australia and the United Kingdom (100+ hours of lessons delivered with excellent feedback). This international experience now allows me to provide high-level teaching to students in France and online.

I have experience teaching engineering, coding, mathematics, mechanics, electronics, measurement science, as well as broader skills such as statistics, design, research, and drawing. I've taught from secondary school to postgraduate level and trained professionals in the corporate world. I've also taught sailing physics to the British Olympic Sailing Team and to students at the Universities of Southampton, Newcastle, and Bristol.
I teach by breaking complex concepts down into simple parts and explaining them in a variety of ways until you feel comfortable.
We'll begin by discussing the areas you'd like to improve on and together, we'll develop a tailored lesson plan. Lessons can cover design, mathematics, physics, engineering theory and application, artificial intelligence, software, or hardware. I can also assist you with projects such as robotics or measurement.
