About Ikechukwu
I have got three engineering degrees (Bsc Chemical, Msc Oil and Gas, Phd Mechanical). Curently, I am a pipeline engineer with 5 years track record in tutoring. I have handled classrooms with over 20 students during my PhD with topics ranging from advanced mathematics to mechanics. I also have been involved in tutoring and mentoring for undergraduate and post graduate students covering topics related to finite element analysis and python programming for automation. My main goal when it comes to tutoring is to breakdown the complex concepts into terms the student can understand and easily recall. I do not presume to replace your textbooks or teachers, only to open your eyes to other avenues to understanding the same problems.

Currently I am a pipeline engineer with a PhD in mechanical engineering. I give lessons to high school (mathematics, chemistry, physics), undergraduates (1st & 2nd year engineering, 3rd upwards in mechanical and petroleum production engineering) and post graduate students (mechanical engineering, computational engineering).
As I cover a lot of topics, I prefer having an introductory class (unpaid) to assess the student myself and where compartible, arrange a string of lessons.
My teaching method follows the pattern: understanding how the student views the problem, identifying aspects to the problem that can be better expantiated, collaborating with the student to create their own pattern to understanding the reasoning behind the problem in hopes that the solution will then come natural to them.

Ikechukwu has sound understanding of physics and engineering as a whole and is able to pass on said knowledge in easily digestible bits to various audience classes. His compassion and desire to make impact makes him the ideal tutor
The most important thing a tutor should have is the "heart" to teach. Ikechukwu readily wants to impart knowledge and he is persistent enough to make sure you understand the point. Equally his ability to bring complex topics into simple and easy to understand form is wonderful.

Rate Negotiation
Upon first (free) lesson, I am open to negotiation as per my hourly rates moving forward. Obviously this will depend on the what methodology would suit the student best, the topic and resources required.
Cancellation
Cancellation is free up to an hour to the lesson. If cancellation is made within the last hour before the lesson a 50% charge will be placed. If a cancellation request is not received before the lesson start time then a 100% charge will be placed.
