About Ines
As a student persuing my MSci in Physics and Molecular and Cellular biology at University College London, I am very aware of the difficulties and pressure faced by students during exams and am determined to help your son or daughter reach their academic potential in these subjects which I am deeply passionate about.
As a native Spanish speaker, I can engagingly work with students to develop their writing, listening, speaking and reading skills effectively within the context of the country’s culture and language.
Being fully aware that most academic difficulties arise from uninspiring and unengaging teaching, I take connecting with the pupil and indentifying their academic weaknesses as a prime responsibility.
We often find students struggling with both maths and sciences because they are unable to give physical meaning to the words fired and defined for them over and over. From personal experience I hve come to realise that is the visual perception of the world around us which much contemporary teaching lacks, a three dimensional visualisation of concepts which simplifies the most complex problems in the scientific realms into simpler more comprehensible and conceptual ideas. As a person who refuses to memorise concepts, I intend on helping students actually understand the concepts and implications behind scientific phenomena.
As a keen reader, violinist and artist in my free time, I am a firm believer of a holistic approach to a student’s learning environment and will work hard to build up your child’s confidence whilst nurturing their curiosity in the intricate and beautiful world of the sciences and mathematics.
