About Lyric
For over 5 years, I’ve been teaching guitar while holding a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering with a Guitar focus. Improvisation across jazz and blues is my greatest passion, and I love helping students find their own voice. My lessons explore modal scales, arpeggios, dominant seventh harmony, and bebop phrasing, combining theory with practical application.
I create lessons that are supportive, engaging, and goal-oriented. Whether you’re a student, hobbyist, or professional musician, I adapt to your level and ambitions. I’ve helped intermediate and advanced players grow in confidence, prepare for gigs, and deepen their improvisational skills.
Improvisation is not just technique—it’s self-expression. I focus on developing phrasing, creativity, and a personal musical language. Let’s start this journey together and discover the joy of spontaneous musical exploration on guitar.

I use a systematic approach to help guitarists read music with confidence. Lessons include standard notation, tablature, rhythm exercises, and sight-reading. Students progress from simple patterns to complex pieces, building strong reading habits.
I support both “The Classical Purist” and “The Jazz Explorer,” helping them become fluent readers. Each lesson balances technical practice with real musical application. We work on note recognition, timing, and understanding musical symbols.
Students gain confidence reading melodies, chords, and rhythms. Sight-reading exercises are practical and enjoyable, encouraging steady improvement. I also show how reading skills connect to improvisation and performance.
The goal is fluency and independence in reading any music. Together, we explore the world of written music and make it an exciting tool for creativity.
