My approach to English and Literacy focuses on structured, confident communication tailored entirely to your learning goals.
What a typical lesson looks like:
- Goal Setting: We begin by breaking down your specific reading, grammar, or creative writing challenges.
- Practical Scaffolding: I use a structured writing method called RENNS (Reasons, Examples, Names, Numbers, Senses) to help you clearly organize your thoughts on paper.
- Interactive Practice: We work through real-world examples, your active assignments, and creative prompts to refine your personal voice in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
How we work together (Booking Policy):
To ensure I can give you my full attention and deliver the highest quality lesson, I utilize a structured onboarding and scheduling process:
*For New Students: Before our first official session, we will either hold a quick 20-minute introductory video chat or connect via email. I ask that you provide a brief outline of your current coursework, subject goals, and what you want to accomplish so I can prepare your material in advance.
**For Regular Students: To maintain a consistent and well-prepared schedule, all subsequent lessons require a minimum of 2 days' notice.

Details
~ Lesson Pack Policy:
Discounted 5-hour and 10-hour packs must be paid in full prior to scheduling the first official session.
~ Cancellation Policy: I require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at the full hourly rate.
~ Materials Policy: The hourly rate includes customized digital worksheets and feedback via email. It does not cover the cost of external physical textbooks or specific software licenses if required by your school curriculum.
