About Lydia
I have always adored academia and the classroom environment, especially when revolving around science. As a recent college graduate and soon-to-be medical school student, I have truly felt the absence of my curriculum. I have filled this gap through my choice to become an elementary school teacher during my year in between undergraduate school and medical school. I hope I can inspire the love of learning that my past teachers have for me. Every student has the capacity to be great and I want to make sure they know that as well!

My lessons will be student-centered with my main priority being understanding and greatest areas of need. I will integrate teaching with gamified practice and exam-style practice for my students in higher education. I will always emphasize the strength found in asking questions, being wrong, and general curiosity! As long as my students feel like I am meeting them where they are and they are confident in their ability to grow, I am happy.
