About Paola
Hello! My name is Paola, an adolescent and young adult tutor with a background in neuroscience and biology with a specialized focus on visual learning techniques. I believe the best way to achieve your academic goals in science is to take the time to understand what you're learning.
With over 5 years of tutoring experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with students at all levels—from high school to university. My approach uses visual aids, diagrams, organizational charts, and a whiteboard to make abstract ideas more tangible and easier to understand.
Beyond the science, I’m deeply committed to making learning a positive, engaging experience. I take the time to understand your unique learning style and tailor our sessions to meet your needs, whether that’s through hands-on demonstrations, interactive visuals, or breaking down concepts into more manageable parts.
My goal as a tutor is to help you do your best on an upcoming test or project, but also inspire a deeper understanding, build your confidence, and equip you with tools that will make you a better student.
