About Ivy
I am a dedicated singing tutor with 18 years of experience teaching college students, and I am committed to helping students improve their vocal skills while building confidence and stage presence. My teaching method combines structured vocal training with creative and practical learning techniques, ensuring that students can apply what they learn in real-life performances.
I train students in essential areas such as breath control, pitch accuracy, tone development, vocal strength, and flexibility, while also focusing on musical expression and interpretation. I use innovative methods like voice recording, playback analysis, and guided performance exercises to help students understand their progress and improve effectively.
I also encourage students to explore a wide range of music genres and develop their own artistic identity.

My teaching style for Singing is designed to be simple, engaging, and effective. I focus on motivation, communication, creativity, and time management to help students achieve their goals. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident to explore their voice.
I teach basic vocal techniques like breathing, pitch, tone, and voice control in a clear and easy way. I ensure that students understand each concept through practice and repetition. I also maintain open communication to address their doubts and challenges.
I use creative teaching methods such as singing exercises, learning different songs, and practicing expression. This makes lessons enjoyable and helps students stay interested.
Each session is well-planned with time for warm-ups, skill-building, song practice, and feedback. I track progress regularly and guide students step by step.
In addition to Singing, I also teach related subjects like music theory, listening skills, and stage confidence.
