About Keira
I am a Chess tutor with more than 20 years of teaching experience and have successfully taught over 3220 students. My passion is helping learners improve both their chess skills and their ability to think strategically in challenging situations.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with beginners, intermediate players, competitive tournament participants, and advanced learners seeking rating improvement. This experience allows me to create effective training programs for every level.
Many students have achieved significant rating increases, won tournaments, improved analytical thinking, and strengthened decision-making skills through my mentorship and coaching.
My goal is to help learners master chess while developing valuable life skills such as concentration, discipline, patience, strategic planning, and critical thinking.

My Chess lessons are designed to help students develop strong strategic thinking, advanced calculation abilities, and confident decision-making skills through structured and engaging instruction. Lessons cover opening theory, tactical combinations, positional understanding, endgame mastery, strategic planning, time management, calculation techniques, pattern recognition, tournament preparation, and psychological aspects of competitive play.
Students participate in game analysis sessions, tactical puzzle solving, strategic discussions, competitive simulations, opening preparation exercises, and endgame studies. These activities help learners understand not only how to make strong moves but also why certain strategic decisions lead to success.
Advanced learners focus on master-level opening systems, positional sacrifices, advanced endgame techniques, tournament psychology, deep calculation methods, and professional game analysis. Students learn how to approach competitive chess with confidence and consistency.
Each lesson is tailored according to the learner’s rating level and objectives. Continuous progress tracking, performance reviews, and personalized coaching ensure measurable improvement and long-term development.
