About Liora
I’m passionate about helping my students grow and become better Chess players. With 7 years of experience in teaching and competing, I teach Chess to school and college students of all levels. My greatest happiness comes from seeing my students improve their skills, gain confidence, and enjoy the game. During my career, I’ve successfully prepared many players for tournaments, helping them reach their goals and celebrate their progress. I believe that Chess is more than just a game — it helps you become a smarter thinker, a strong decision-maker, and a patient problem-solving person. My lessons are designed to be clear, fun, and motivating, whether you’re just starting or looking to move up to a higher level of competition. I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience with you, and I’m proud to be a part of your Chess journey. Let’s learn together and make every move count!

My teaching methodology focuses on helping you grow as a strong and creative Chess player. I believe in using Accountability, Creativity, and Communication to make each lesson clear, fun, and purposeful. I guide you step by step, starting with the fundamentals and slowly adding more advanced strategies. We’ll work together on opening strategy, positional play, and endgame tactics, turning difficult moves into easy choices. I make sure you stay accountable to your goals by following up on your progress and offering helpful practice routines. Creativity is a big part of our lessons — I encourage you to think outside the box, find your own style, and come up with your own plans. Communication helps us identify your struggles, answer your questions, and celebrate your progress. Besides Chess, I can also teach related subjects, like game theory, logical thinking, and decision making under pressure. All these skills can help you become a smarter and more adaptable player. My aim is to make Chess a rewarding and enjoyable experience for you, while strengthening your confidence at the board. Let’s grow together, move by move!
