I keep up-to-date on current trends in teaching by taking continuing education courses. I use a varied approach to teaching. I utilize games and other online activities to help facilitate understanding. Each lesson is tailored to the students specific needs. Lessons are for any student whether they are struggling, want to improve or simply wish to be challenged. My approach for the struggling lower grade student is heavily phonics based. Lessons last from 45-60 minutes. Lessons include reading and grammar work.
