About Chelsea
I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a master's in Curriculum and Instruction. I have been teaching for 10 years. I have been tutoring for eight years which even included tutoring with Prodigy Education. I have loved all of my experience tutoring and working with all the different students!

Lessons are typically 30 or 40 minutes and can be 1-3 times per week. I like to start my lessons by having 2-4 minutes to see how the student is doing and learn more about them. This helps students feel more comfortable working with me and I learn what their interests are which can help me with each lesson. Then we get into the lesson which could consist of a variety of activities from whiteboard work to worksheets to reading passages. I tutor math and reading with grades 1st-5th.
