I hold a certification in Education with endorsements in Reading and Elementary Education. I have 6 years of experience specifically in reading tutoring and have also worked as a classroom teacher for the past two years.

My goal is for my students to build their confidence and love of reading. We work towards this by making reading fun and by building a relationship of trust.
Sessions typically begin with reviewing the words my students had practiced between sessions. Then we play a game where we practice a phonics rule with each turn. This keeps students engaged while getting lots of practice reading.
