Teaching Method & Techniques
I focus on building understanding rather than memorization. I also adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace and preferences, whether they benefit from repetition, visual learning, or guided practice.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Each session is structured but flexible:
Warm-up (5–10 minutes): Quick review of previously learned material to reinforce retention
Introduction (10–15 minutes): Explanation of a new concept using simple language and examples
Guided Practice (15–20 minutes): Working through problems together, encouraging questions and discussion
Independent Practice (10–15 minutes): Student attempts problems on their own while I provide support as needed
Wrap-up (5 minutes): Review key points and identify areas for further practice
