About Nadia
Hi! I’m Nadia, a patient and supportive tutor with experience helping elementary students build confidence in reading, writing, and foundational language skills.
I understand that early learning experiences shape how students feel about school long-term. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable learning at their own pace while steadily improving their skills.
I focus on making learning approachable by breaking concepts into simple steps and helping students develop both confidence and independence in their work.

My lessons are designed to help elementary students build strong foundational skills in English and early French while developing confidence and a positive relationship with learning.
I support students with reading comprehension, phonics, spelling, sentence structure, paragraph writing, and early literacy development. I also provide beginner French support, focusing on vocabulary, basic grammar, reading, and simple conversational skills aligned with school curriculum expectations. I especially enjoy supporting students who may feel shy, frustrated, overwhelmed, or discouraged in school. My goal is to help these students feel more comfortable asking questions and expressing themselves.
My teaching approach is patient, structured, and encouraging. I break concepts down into simple, manageable steps and adapt each lesson to the student’s learning style and pace. My goal is to help students feel more confident, capable, and engaged in both English and French learning.
Whether a student needs extra support, enrichment, or help building foundational skills, I focus on making lessons clear, interactive, and confidence-building.

After that, my rates are $40/hour for in-person sessions and $35/hour for online sessions.
