About Avery
I am currently attending Wayne State University with a major in elementary education. I will begin student teaching in January of 2025, not too far! I have two dogs; Potato and Jada who were both rescued from a puppy mill. I also have an orange cat named George! In my free time, I love spending time with my pets, family, and friends!

My goal is not only to create lessons that are individualized to your students needs, but that keep them engaged and wanting to learn more! I believe that when you engage students (by activating their background knowledge, incorporating movement into the lesson, having students complete hands-on activities , etc.) they will remember the lesson better and will be interested in learning more!
