About Wellen
With 12 years of experience as a French tutor, I have supported hundreds of high school and college students in building strong language skills and academic confidence. I strongly believe in personalised learning and customise every lesson according to the learner’s level, goals, and learning style.
My teaching covers grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading, and writing in a balanced way. I focus on developing practical communication skills through conversation, role-play, and real-world examples. I also assist students with exam preparation, homework support, and spoken French practice.
A key strength of my teaching is my patience and clarity in explaining concepts. I ensure that students fully understand each topic before moving forward. I maintain a friendly and encouraging learning environment where students feel motivated to improve. My goal is to help learners develop accuracy, confidence, and long-term fluency in French.

My approach to teaching French is guided by Accountability, Integrity, Flexibility, Communication, and Positivity. I believe students learn best when they clearly understand their goals and feel supported throughout the learning process. From the first lesson, I help students set realistic targets and hold them accountable through regular practice, assessments, and feedback. This helps them stay focused and build discipline.
Communication is the foundation of my French classes. I encourage students to speak from the very beginning using simple words and everyday expressions. I use real-life conversations, role plays, listening exercises, and pronunciation drills to build speaking confidence. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in a practical way so students can apply what they learn in daily communication.
Flexibility allows me to adapt my lessons based on each learner’s pace, level, and learning style. I adjust my teaching for school students, college learners, and adults with different goals. Integrity guides me to provide honest feedback and fair evaluation at every stage.
Along with French, I also teach related subjects such as communication skills, vocabulary development, writing practice, exam preparation, cultural studies, and basic translation. With a positive and motivating learning environment, students build confidence, accuracy, and a genuine interest in the French language.
