About Billy
I am currently studying towards a integrated masters in Electrical Engineering at the University of Lincoln. On my route to University I performed strongly at both GCSE and A level securing AAB in ICT, Physics and Maths respectively.
I have a strong, intutive understanding of both Maths and Physics as demanded by my degree which I am confident I can transfer during tutoring sessions for both GCSE and A level students.
During my A level studies I gained experience in being a tutor for young people by becoming a voluntary reading mentor. This role involved engaging with young people on a weekly basis encouraging them to not only to read more often but to more importantly, enjoy it!
As for maths and physics I have tutored close friends as well as family. In both cases helping my tutees reach their targets in moving on to the next step of their education, whether this be securing a place on a college course or at University.
Throughout my time at university I have been volunteering as a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) ambassador which involves working with young people of varying ages to engage and promote STEM subjects.
I believe all of the above positions me perfectly to tutor you in either Maths or Physics so that you will go on to recognise your potential and reach your future goals.

As a tutor I aim to deliver clear, structured tuition by breaking topics down and focusing on building a strong baseline understanding of these topics before developing your knowledge and intuition on these topics.
During lessons I plan to use a variety of techniques that I use as part of my own studies such as using visual learning techniques and fully worked examples. All of which I can tailor to your preferred method of learning.
