About Yusuf
I have been teaching since I was in year 9, when I got a job at my local Kumon centre teaching Maths and English. I have been tutoring maths and science ever since I joint sixth form.
Having only recently left school, and being the first year to experience the new GCSE's (9-1 marking) and A level's, I have a good understanding of the problems that you might face when doing them and how to overcome them, achieving clean sweeps of 9's and A*'s respectively. Looking back, I know how I could have studied smarter, and more efficiently than I did, so it would be cool to pass that on!

The lesson style is very much dependant on the tutee and what exactly they are after and how far through their course they are!
I am more than happy to teach new topics that haven't been covered in school yet, or to go over more challenging ones, that maybe didn't fully sink in the first time round. Once we've gone over a topic, I like to work through different problems to help consolidate what we worked on.
In my experience, doing lots of questions, especially past papers one, is what really makes what you learnt, stick in your brain.
I like to write out what we are discussing on my ipad (screenshared) and then a pdf of the notes we have made will be sent over after the lesson, as well as some questions to try in your own time! :)
