My Teaching Methodology
My teaching methodology is rooted in a student-centered approach that blends foundational techniques with creative exploration. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable experimenting and growing.
My core techniques include:
Foundational Skills First: I begin by teaching the fundamentals, such as drawing, perspective, color theory, and composition. This provides students with a strong technical base before they move on to more complex projects.
Active, Hands-On Practice: My lessons are highly interactive. We work on projects together, and I provide live demonstrations and personalized feedback to guide students step-by-step through the process.
Encouraging Personal Expression: While I teach core skills, my ultimate goal is to help students discover their own unique artistic style. I encourage them to experiment with different mediums and subjects, helping them to find and express their own creative voice.
This approach not only builds technical proficiency but also boosts students' confidence and passion for art. I believe that anyone can create beautiful art with the right guidance and a little encouragement.
