About Barış
I am an industrial engineer, I have performed a wide variety of music genres in the music market for years, from pop jazz to blues a hard rock to heavy metal. I worked as a choirist and preparing audio work materials in the Boğaziçi Jazz Choir. I have advanced knowledge of music. I have been a music instructor and recording technology instructor for a long time. Essentially, I am a guitarist and teaching guitar, bass guitar, drums and piano. If you want to play the electric guitar, I provide all the necessary training, from beginner level to being able to play with a band or even what it takes to become an advanced solo guitarist.

I decide on the work to be done according to the levels of my students, prioritizing their musical tastes and learning styles, in a way that they will both enjoy and practice comfortable. Previously, I taught both online and face to face, but now I am giving lessons online due to the corona virus. I communicate with the student through the online platform (zoom, discord, teamspeak, whatsapp) preferred by the student, and transmit the sound from my instrument directly to the communication device used by the student (phone, pc, headset), and I teach the lesson as if working face to face. I present the required visual and audio material of the lesson to the student after the lesson as a note, metronome-accompanied sound recording (mp3) or video, depending on demand and necessity. I continue my lessons for about 1 hour depending on the full understanding of the lesson taught or the student's tiredness.
