About the lesson

Humour, high-standards and helpfulness would characterise my approach. I feel tutoring must be an open dialogue. My teaching approach is to first identify during the free introductory meeting the areas of achievement and those areas which need focus. Then, with the student, to plan a six week course of study with achieveable, specific goals. With clearly stated success criteria, we can then ensure that learning is focused, effective and productive. After the six weeks, we can reflect to see what the next steps should be.
