EFL/ESL Lessons I offer a Student Centered teaching approach with a specialization in Writing and Rhetoric Accepting all levels of students

I met Sam in college when he joined the rowing club team. We bonded over our enjoyment of philosophy, English, books and love of learning new things. Sam is a great teacher. He is very kind, caring, patient and passionate about ensuring everyone is able to learn. He is also very adaptable. He is more than willing to adjust his teaching strategies to help his students and friends all learn. Everyone learns differently and Sam will go out of his way to help everyone understand content. For example, I am a visual learner, have adhd and I need repetition in order to learn. Sam in addition to learning has a passion for card games. I was very confused when he first introduced me to a couple of different card games at a game night. However, he took his time and even drew a diagram to help me understand the breakdown of the game and key points. There were times when I got frustrated or overwhelmed and we took a step back and took a break. He was so patient. When resuming the game, he proceeded to teach me by letting me take the turn but explaining my options for each card. He didn’t have to take the time to help me but he not only did but was willing to go above and beyond to ensure I understood the game. Overall Sam is an amazing teacher and I would highly recommend him as a tutor, teacher or mentor!
