About Teny
I strongly believe in the importance of inclusion at schools. I am trained in following guidelines of age-appropriate standards to help detect any learning/developmental disabilities, and handle confidential information with sensitivity. My goal is to contribute to bringing awareness to inclusion, and enable each individual to become self-directed in order to realize their highest potential.

I have a B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University. My mission in life has always been to make a difference in peoples lives. I have taken numerous mainstream/special education courses and have experience working with diverse populations & individuals. I have done fieldwork working with students of varying ability levels ranging from severely learning disabled to gifted, assisting special ed. teachers, as well as mainstream classroom instructors. I helped manage the classroom & offered extra help with social skills, assignments in elementary through high school classrooms. Some of these classrooms were bilingual, as I had been chosen to assist these students, because of my background in bilingual education. After college, I did part time tutoring through an ESL program at my library, and also private tutoring teaching reading, language, and English.
