I hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, along with master's and bachelor's degrees in the same field, and have over a decade of experience teaching and mentoring students in power electronics and core electrical engineering subjects. My formal teaching background includes serving as a Lecturer at Penn State Behrend, where I taught undergraduate courses in power electronics, microelectronics, and VLSI design, and later as a Part Time Instructor at Oakland University, where I created curriculum and lab material for an introductory power electronics course designed for adult learners transitioning into the EV industry. Across these roles, I have taught both traditional college age students and working professionals, using a mix of structured lectures, hands on lab instruction, and concept driven problem solving approaches. In addition to classroom teaching, I have supervised and mentored multiple engineering interns in one on one and small group settings, guiding them through real world projects in high voltage systems, DC DC converters, magnetics, and inverter technology. This combination of advanced academic training, curriculum development experience, and practical industry mentorship enables me to tutor students effectively in electrical engineering, power electronics, and related STEM subjects.
