About Patrick
Hello! I am an architect and educator located between Florence, Italy and New York. I am deeply passionate about the field of architecture and design and its ability to help improve our present and future through context-sensitive interventions. Balancing professional practice with teaching keeps my work grounded in execution while keeping me closely aligned with emerging research. This dual perspective enables me to guide students not only toward academic excellence, but continued success after the classroom.
I was educated at Hobart College, and Washington University in St. Louis (Master of Architecture), where my work received numerous design awards and was selected for annual exhibitions and publications. Upon graduation, I have served as an Adjunct Professor in my alma mater’s undergraduate program, regularly teaching studios, seminars, and software-training courses. In this role, I have also served on undergraduate admissions selection committees and am frequently invited as a guest critic for studios.
In addition to teaching, I have designed projects across New York, Vermont, Missouri, Illinois, and Tuscany, Italy. My work spans a diverse range of scales, from 10-square-foot open-air pavilions to complex 100,000-square-foot university research facilities. I hold my licensure in the State of New York.

I offer one-on-one sessions which are flexible and designed toward the student's needs. Examples include:
- Portfolio review and application assistance
- Studio project assistance/critique
- Software training (Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Rhino).
- Career guidance.
The structure of the lesson(s) can be as simple as a one-off session to work through a specific design problem, all the way to a complex multi-week course developing a skill, portfolio, or project through the process of design-thinking.
My objective is to help nurture and develop your ideas in a manner similar to an architectural studio in a university setting, but with an added personalization to your learning style and pace. I believe architectural education is a process of learning through guided practice, where exploration, questioning, and collaboration are encouraged and practiced.
