About Shania
I am a graduate of the University of Southern Maine who is passionate about teaching and tutoring nursing students. I use multimodal methods for students to learn, and I have experience in many fields including LTC, outpatient and hospital setting, which allows me to teach many different topics of nursing.

It will focus on relaying assessment findings , using SBAR, and discussing various types of communication. Specifically, relaying nonverbal and verbal communication, along with understanding open-ended questions vs close-ended questions. Also about how to reduce communication barriers that exist in healthcare.
