About Davina
I am a 200 hour trained yin yoga teacher with variable anatomy a key part of my course. This means I understand how different our bodies can be and focus on the way a pose feels rather than how it looks.
I am also a NHS clinical health psychologist and bring elements of my psychology background into my yoga teaching, especially the focus on living our lives in line with our personal values and developing self compassion.
My aim is to support people to have a sustainable lifestyle and, ideally, to give people valuable skills before they burn out, which can be a common difficulty for carers and helping professionals especially.
Through my classes and 1:1s, I hope you will develop a realistic home practice and reach the point where you no longer need me!

I mainly teach short online classes. These are small groups and live. I don't record my classes for use elsewhere. This is different from many other online teachers who have large groups, so can't attend to your needs during a class, and record the class to put up on a subscription platform or YouTube - those types of classes are great for some people as they can often be a bit cheaper but are not for everyone. I prefer a more personal touch and community feel for teaching and as a lifelong learner. I am also offering access to a Facebook group for students who have attended at least one class within a 30 day period to help support ongoing practice between classes.
