About Anya
I am an Economics tutor with 4 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over this time, I have successfully guided 150–200 students, helping them build strong foundations and improve their academic performance. I believe that Economics should not be limited to textbooks but understood as a subject that explains the choices, behaviors, and systems we see around us every day. My teaching philosophy is rooted in clarity, engagement, and real-world application. I use practical examples, case studies, and step-by-step explanations to make concepts like supply and demand, market structures, international trade, and economic growth easier to understand. I encourage students to ask questions, think critically, and approach problems with confidence. A notable achievement in my tutoring journey has been seeing many of my students achieve top grades and gain admission into competitive programs. I take pride in tailoring my lessons to each learner’s goals and pace, ensuring that every student feels supported and motivated. I am passionate about helping students see the value of Economics in both academics and life. With dedication and the right guidance, I believe every learner can excel and enjoy the subject.

My teaching approach in Economics is centered on making the subject practical, engaging, and relevant to everyday life. I believe that students understand concepts best when they can connect them to real-world situations. That is why I use real-life examples and case studies to explain key ideas in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Development Economics, International Trade, and Behavioral Economics. By linking theory to practice, I help students see how economics influences decisions made by individuals, businesses, and governments.
Motivation is an important part of my lessons, as I encourage students to stay curious and confident while tackling complex problems. I emphasize integrity and critical thinking, guiding learners to analyze data, interpret results, and construct logical arguments. Problem-solving is at the heart of my methodology, with a step-by-step approach to breaking down economic models, graphs, and equations. At the same time, I keep flexibility in my sessions, adapting to each student’s needs and learning pace.
My goal is to make Economics both understandable and useful. With the right guidance, every student can develop the skills to analyze, question, and apply economic principles to the challenges of today’s world.
