About Katherine
I am an Economics tutor with 6 years of experience working with both high school and college students. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach and support between 150 to 200 students, helping many improve their grades and develop a strong interest in the subject. My teaching philosophy is simple—make economics clear, practical, and connected to real life. I use everyday examples, current events, and simple language to explain even the most complex ideas. I believe that learning should be a two-way process, so I always encourage questions and discussions. One of my proudest achievements is seeing students who once struggled with economics gain confidence and perform well in exams. I aim not just to teach for tests, but to help students understand how economic thinking can be useful in daily life and future careers.
