About Liora
With an MSc in Economics and over nine years of teaching experience, I have had the opportunity to guide learners at both school and university levels. My passion lies in making economics more than a subject — a way to understand how societies function and evolve. I approach every lesson as a conversation rather than a lecture. Students are encouraged to discuss, question, and debate ideas openly. This builds both critical thinking and communication skills. Over the years, I’ve seen how real-world examples and storytelling make economics come alive. From explaining the 2008 financial crisis to analyzing local market patterns, I connect lessons to situations students can relate to. My teaching style is structured but flexible, allowing each learner to progress at their own pace while maintaining intellectual rigor. I blend traditional concepts with modern perspectives — from behavioral economics to sustainability. Ultimately, I aim to create learners who are curious, reflective, and capable of applying economics to solve real-world challenges — developing not just academic proficiency, but economic intuition.

My Economics lessons are designed to help students think like economists — understanding how choices, resources, and incentives shape the world around us. We begin with core principles such as demand and supply, elasticity, and opportunity cost, before progressing into fiscal policy, globalization, and market structures.
Each topic is explored through relatable, real-world examples — from analyzing inflation trends to understanding how government interventions impact everyday life. Students learn to connect abstract theories to practical outcomes.
Interactive exercises and case studies form a central part of my teaching. I encourage learners to evaluate current economic events, interpret data, and challenge assumptions through guided reasoning. This makes lessons lively and thought-provoking.
