About Imelda
"Teaching Economics serves as a way to convert complex theories into logical, examinable frameworks. Exactly 8 years of classroom instruction have refined my ability to explain international trade, economic development, and microeconomics to students struggling with abstract concepts. Essays require rigid structure rather than vague arguments.
I emphasize game theory basics, elasticity, and cost-benefit analysis to ensure my students grasp the technical mechanics of the discipline. My background with a BEcon from the University of Queensland and a Grad Dip Ed informs my focus on market failure and market efficiency.
I typically guide high-achieving students who want to master data response technique. Connecting with students after a long day of teaching remains a highlight of my career. I live in Sydney and find joy in watching a student finally compute the logic behind a curve."
