About Mia
Hi, I’m Mia, an Economics & Finance graduate currently studying MSc Digital Finance in London. I’ve always enjoyed helping students make sense of Economics in a clear and practical way, especially when the subject starts to feel confusing or overwhelming.
I believe Economics is easiest to learn when concepts are explained simply and linked to real-world examples and exam expectations. My teaching style is patient, structured, and supportive, and I focus on building both understanding and confidence over time. I aim to help students not only improve their grades but also feel more comfortable and confident when approaching exams.
With a strong academic background in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and financial markets, I understand the challenges students face and tailor my lessons to each learner’s pace and goals. My goal is to make Economics feel logical, approachable, and achievable.

Hi, I’m Mia, an Economics & Finance graduate currently studying MSc Digital Finance in London.
My approach to tutoring
I focus on helping students actually understand Economics, not just memorise definitions. Lessons are structured but relaxed, with plenty of chances to ask questions. I break down complex ideas using real-world examples, simple diagrams, and step-by-step explanations, then link everything clearly to exam requirements.
I pay particular attention to exam technique—how to structure answers, explain diagrams clearly, and avoid common mistakes that lose marks.

Lesson length
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, which I find works best for focus and progress. Longer or more intensive sessions can be arranged if needed.
Qualifications & experience
I hold a BSc in Economics and Finance and am currently completing an MSc in Digital Finance. My academic background is strong in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and financial markets. I’m organised, patient, and used to explaining technical ideas in a clear, student-friendly way.
