About Nia
My interest in economics developed from a curiosity about how societies function and how decisions affect communities and individuals. Over the past eight years, I have dedicated myself to studying and teaching economic principles in a way that is engaging and easy to understand. Teaching allows me to pass on this knowledge while helping students develop a broader perspective of the world.
I am a calm, patient, and adaptable teacher who values open communication. I take time to understand the specific needs of each student and adjust my methods accordingly. By building a supportive and respectful learning environment, I help students gain confidence in expressing their ideas and opinions.
Outside the classroom, I stay updated on current economic trends and global developments. This allows me to bring real-time relevance into my lessons, making the subject more meaningful and interesting. For me, economics is not just about numbers and theories — it is about understanding people, choices, and the future of society.

Economics explains how individuals, businesses, and governments make decisions, and my lessons are focused on making these ideas clear and relatable. I start with core concepts such as scarcity, supply and demand, opportunity cost, and basic economic systems. By connecting theories to real-world examples, students gain a practical understanding of how economics affects their everyday lives. I encourage discussion, questioning, and independent thinking so that learners can actively engage with the subject rather than simply memorize definitions.
As we move forward, students explore topics such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, market structures, and basic economic indicators. I provide structured notes, case studies, and practice questions that help strengthen theoretical knowledge and exam preparation. Students are guided in writing clear responses, analyzing data, and interpreting graphs and trends. This systematic approach helps them become more confident and capable in both written and analytical tasks.
For advanced learners, lessons focus on deeper analysis, evaluation of economic policies, and interpretation of complex data. Students are encouraged to think critically about global issues such as inflation, unemployment, and international trade. Through discussion-based learning and applied problem-solving, they develop strong reasoning and decision-making skills. My aim is to help students see economics not just as a subject, but as a powerful tool for understanding the modern world.
