About Aakshi
I am currently an Economics student studying at the University of Bath and I have just received my A-level grades in English Literature and Language (A*), Mathematics (A) and Psychology (A).
Throughout my academic career I have always excelled at English starting from a 9 in GCSE English Literature and Language to an A* at A-level.
I have also tutored students in Mathematics up to GCSE level (7 at GCSE, grade A at A-level).

As a student who has just finished in full-time education, I know the techniques needed to gain the top marks in exams and in essays.
From experience I know that at GCSE, many websites and youtube videos often do not help when it comes to essay writing as it is an ability you need to develop on your own.
I can promise you that English is not as difficult as it may seem and I hope to prove to you that, once you grasp the exam hall and writing techniques, it really becomes much easier to do to the point where it's enjoyable :)
The way I plan to teach will be to set an essay for you to write, so that I can see your current abilities. From this I will highlight what your areas of improvement are and this will set the ball rolling as to how I decide teach you and structure your lessons so that it is tailored to your needs.
Of course, you should expect there to be a lot of writing, but also prepare to enjoy learning about the way the English language can be manipulated and interpreted.
