About MITCHELLE
Hi! I’m an Economics and Statistics graduate with a genuine interest in Maths, Statistics and helping people understand things that may initially seem difficult. During my studies and professional experience in finance and data analysis, I’ve learned that many students struggle not because they can’t do something, but because they haven’t found an explanation that works for them.
I want to teach because I enjoy breaking down complicated concepts into simple, practical steps and seeing someone go from “I don’t understand this” to “Oh, now I get it!” My goal is to make lessons comfortable, interactive and encouraging, while helping my students build both their knowledge and confidence. I’m patient, approachable and happy to adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs.

I’m a friendly and patient tutor who believes that anyone can understand Maths and Statistics when they’re taught in a way that makes sense to them. I first take time to understand what a student is struggling with, then break concepts down into simple steps using clear explanations, practical examples and practice questions.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics, giving me a strong foundation in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics and quantitative analysis. My academic and professional experience in finance and data analysis has also strengthened my analytical and problem-solving skills. I enjoy helping others build confidence and understand the “why” behind what they are learning, rather than simply memorising formulas.
Lessons typically last 1 hour, although I’m happy to adjust depending on the student’s needs. I welcome high school and university students, as well as anyone looking to improve their Maths, Statistics, Economics or general quantitative skills.
