I have been teaching Economics and related subjects at degree level since last two years. I am a Ph.D. student in Economics with teaching experience of two years. I intend to stay in academia after the completion of my Ph.D., as apart from enjoying research, I have understood during those last years how much I love teaching. I am a driven and enthusiastic person while reading and travelling are at the top of my leisure choices. I like to teach Statistics, Economics, and Mathematics, not only because these are my specialisations but also because I love these subjects. I truly believe that teaching is a two-way lane and every class should give everyone something to think about. Active learning is how one becomes adept at any subject and gains the needed skills for applying it in practice. I like to teach the above-mentioned subjects (degree level) with emphasis on long-term achievement goals.

Perfect! Arpita has been a great tutor for me! Communicating with her has been super easy and she's always on time for our sessions. Perfect! My son Charlie needed to resit his first year Uni Economics exam. Arpita delivered a three week tutoring schedule which was well structured and excellently delivered. She made Charlie feel comfortable to ask questions, she actively encouraged him to do so, enabling him to be fully involved with the lessons. Charlie received his results to his resit this week and achieved an excellent grade. I would definitely recommend Arpita, she is professional, personable and we were very pleased with the service received from her.

Arpita is a very passionate and highly skilled professional, currently pursuing her PhD in Economics. She has an important experience in teaching in higher education, as she has been a tutor in a range of undergraduate courses, including core Economics modules, Stats and Maths.
