About Brianna
I'm a student-athlete at the University of Michigan. I graduated high school a semester early and earned my college degree from the University of Michigan in 2.5 years. I'm pursuing a graduate degree to continue learning and use my remaining eligibility. I spend my free time working out, reading, and cooking.
I love teaching others. I've been tutoring since I was in middle school. Some of it has been more formal, such as through volunteer organizations like the National Honor Society. Some of it has been more informal, like during road trips as I travel with my team.
Whatever the scenario may be, it brings me so much pleasure to connect with others through tutoring. It's so gratifying to see a concept click, and I'm honored to be a part of making it happen.

I've always thought that the best way to remember concepts is to genuinely understand the intuition behind them. In economics, understanding why ideas work and how they can apply in the real world is the key to success.
In a typical lesson, I'll start by asking if there are any specific topics or questions the student would like to go over. Then, I'll work through core concepts and application problems, allowing the student to jump in and ask questions/request topics as desired. I move at a pace that allows the student to fully grasp the concepts while still covering ground efficiently.
I'm confident in teaching any level of economics, from grade-school students to AP/IB high-school students to college students. I taught myself a number of high-level courses, earning A-grades in rigorous economic courses at the University of Michigan.

Brianna was my economics tutor, and I genuinely can’t recommend her enough. When I first started working with her, I was really struggling to grasp the material and felt overwhelmed. What stood out immediately was her teaching style. She does not just help you memorize concepts, she makes sure you actually understand them. She breaks things down in a way that makes everything click, and you leave each session feeling more confident than before.
What I appreciate most about Brianna is how much she truly cares about her students. She is patient, encouraging, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you succeed. She creates an environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges without pressure.
One moment that really stuck with me was when I mentioned my favorite candy during our first session. After I got an A on my final, she surprised me with that exact candy. It was a thoughtful gesture and showed how invested she is in her students, both academically and personally.
