About Favour
I am an Economics graduate and finance professional with practical experience across accounting, corporate finance and investment analysis. I bring both academic knowledge and real-world experience to my lessons, allowing me to explain concepts in a way that is relevant beyond the classroom.
I am committed to creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their understanding at their own pace. My lessons are structured, engaging and tailored to each student's learning needs and goals.

My approach as a tutor is centred on making finance and economics practical, simple and easy to understand. I believe students learn better when they understand the reasoning behind a concept rather than simply memorising definitions or formulas.
I start by understanding the student's current level, learning goals and areas of difficulty. From there, I break complex topics into smaller, easier-to-understand concepts and use practical examples, real-world scenarios and step-by-step explanations to reinforce learning. Where appropriate, I also use exercises and past questions to help students apply what they have learnt.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous concepts, followed by an introduction to the day's topic. I then explain the concept using simple examples before working through practical questions with the student. The lesson ends with exercises or questions that allow the student to apply the concept independently, as well as a quick review of key takeaways.
What sets me apart is my combination of academic knowledge and practical finance experience. With a background in Economics and professional experience across accounting, corporate finance and investment analysis, I am able to connect classroom concepts to how financial decisions are actually made in the real world.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school students, university/undergraduate students, graduates preparing for professional examinations, and anyone looking to build a stronger foundation in economics, finance or financial management. I can also tailor lessons to specific courses, topics, examinations or areas where a student needs additional support.
