About Maia
I am a tutor and educator with 5 years of experience. I substitute taught for 5 years in Glendale, tutored ELA for 3 years, and taught English as a foreign language for 1 year when I lived in Poland. I lived in Poland for 4 years and earned my M.A in European Studies. I am originally from Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles, and my hobbies are hiking, gardening, walking the dog, and feeding the ducks and chickens.

I approach each client holistically and look at the big picture. I believe that in order for anyone to learn, the "whole brain" must be fully online and present.
