About Jonty

I have over 10 years of playing experience, including junior county cricket, net bowling for professional teams, university cricket and 1XI school and club cricket (Prem/ Division 1 standard). I am also a Level 2 ECB Core Coach, and currently working in a school as a Resident Sports Assistant (Loughborough Uni Placement Student) I am passionate about the game, and love to see players improve! Seeing someone score runs/ taking wickets after a session fills me with joy and makes me proud! I want YOU to fulfil YOUR potential! It would be an honour to be your coach, and hope we can build a trustworthy relationship!

About the lesson

I'll be looking at both technical and tactical skills of the game: Improving your batting, bowling, fielding, and tactical awareness. Prior to the lessons, I would like to discuss what aspect of the game you would like to improve. With this info, I will create a short programme on this particular skill; this can vary from the very basics to fine-tuning specifics. I offer both 1 and 2 hour sessions, and up to 2 players per session.

Working with Jonty has been a brilliant experience from the very first lesson. He brings real energy to every session and has a natural talent for making players feel comfortable, motivated, and focused. What makes him different is the way he spots small technical details and turns them into practical improvements you can immediately apply in training and matches. After spending time learning with him, my batting, decision-making, and overall confidence on the field improved noticeably. He’s the kind of coach who genuinely cares about his students’ progress, and I’d confidently recommend him to anyone looking for high-quality cricket coaching.
