About Daijha
Hi, I’m Daijha, a dedicated reading tutor with experience working with young learners in both school and tutoring settings. I currently work in education and have hands-on experience supporting students in building foundational literacy skills.
Through my work, I have helped students grow from knowing little to no letter sounds to confidently recognizing letters, sounds, and reading simple words. I use structured, research-based methods focused on phonics and the science of reading to ensure real progress.
I am patient, supportive, and passionate about helping every child feel confident in their learning. My goal is to create a positive and encouraging environment where students can grow at their own pace and succeed.

I offer fun, engaging, and structured reading lessons for children ages 4 to 10 (Pre-K through 5th grade). Whether your child is just starting with letter names and sounds or needs help becoming a more confident reader, I meet them at their level and build them up step by step.
I focus on phonics, blending, and reading fluency using proven, science-based methods. My younger students learn through play and interaction, while my older students work on accuracy, comprehension, and confidence. I create a safe, encouraging space where students can grow without pressure and actually enjoy learning to read.
