I am an experienced and nurturing early elementary teacher who is passionate about helping students meet their goals using lessons that are developmentally appropriate. Working in one of the highest scoring schools for eleven years, I have taught many struggling as well as advanced readers. I am confident that I will be able to help your child be successful.

Research shows that young children learn best through play. After a long day at school, I will help your child learn in a fun and engaging way. We will play games, sing songs, use our imagination, and read fun books. They will feel like they are playing but the activities will be based on what they need to learn. I will also help with homework. And although that may be a little less fun, I will still try to make it as painless as possible.
