About Moni
As a Piano tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, I am passionate about helping students discover their musical abilities. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals, providing lessons that are customised to individual goals and skill levels.
My teaching approach combines structured learning with creativity and flexibility. I focus on helping students understand the fundamentals of music while encouraging self-expression and confidence.
My classes include piano technique, scales, chords, rhythm exercises, music notation, sight reading, ear training, improvisation, and performance preparation. I also teach students effective practice strategies that support long-term improvement.
Besides Piano, I provide instruction in music theory, keyboard techniques, and musical interpretation. These additional subjects help students develop a deeper understanding of music and improve their overall musicianship.
I am known for my patience, clear communication, and ability to make learning enjoyable. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel inspired to grow and achieve their musical dreams.

My teaching methodology is based on communication, creativity, flexibility, patience, and steady progress. I believe that every student has the ability to learn piano when lessons are planned according to their individual needs. My goal is to make every class enjoyable, encouraging, and productive.
I begin by understanding each student's current level, musical interests, and learning goals. Based on this, I create a personalised learning plan that allows students to progress comfortably. Beginners focus on posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and basic music theory. As students improve, they learn scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, pedal techniques, sight reading, and expressive performance.
I explain every lesson using simple English and practical demonstrations. Students are encouraged to ask questions, practise regularly, and understand every concept before moving to the next lesson. This approach builds confidence and long-term learning.
To make lessons interesting, students learn music from different genres such as classical, pop, devotional songs, movie themes, and contemporary music. Creative activities like improvisation and accompaniment help students improve musical expression and confidence.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard techniques, music theory, rhythm training, ear training, sight reading, performance preparation, and music appreciation. These supporting subjects help students become complete musicians.
My aim is to help students enjoy music, improve consistently, and develop the confidence and skills needed to continue learning throughout their lives.
